Veradigm Data Breach Details:

On July 1, 2025, Veradigm, a healthcare technology company, identified unauthorized access to data belonging to certain customers. The company says it initiated an investigation, engaging cybersecurity experts to assess the breach and implement measures to limit its impact. Veradigm also informed law enforcement authorities.

The investigation revealed that an unauthorized party exploited a credential obtained from a separate data security incident involving another Veradigm customer, unrelated to the affected healthcare practice. Using this credential, the intruder accessed a Veradigm storage account containing customer data, including information from the affected practice. The breach occurred around December 15, 2024, but Veradigm only learned of it through a third-party investigation into the initial incident.

As a result of the data breach, Veradigm is offering free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
