US Dermatology Partners
Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

Posted: June 3, 2025 -- Attention, victims of the US Dermatology Partners data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the data breach recently announced by US Dermatology Partners.

US Dermatology Partners Data Breach Summary:

Thousands of individuals were affected by the US Dermatology Partners data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Names, Addresses, Dates of Birth, Driver’s License Numbers, Social Security Numbers, Financial Data (e.g. account numbers or credit or debit card numbers), Health Insurance Data, and Medical Data.

In June 2024, US Dermatology Partners experienced unauthorized access to its computer network, during which certain files were reportedly transferred externally. A cybersecurity investigation, finalized in April 2025, determined that the compromised files included personal and medical information such as names, birth dates, medical record numbers, insurance data, and details related to dermatology care. A smaller subset of individuals also had their Social Security or driver’s license numbers exposed.

US Dermatology Partners claims it has strengthened its cybersecurity measures in the wake of this data breach and, as of late May 2025, began informing those affected. Free credit monitoring and identity protection are being provided to individuals whose sensitive identification numbers were involved. Those impacted are advised to check their insurance records for unusual activity and report discrepancies to their providers. A dedicated call center has been set up to assist with questions and concerns at 855-260-8481, available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Central Time.

As a result of the data breach, US Dermatology Partners is offering free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
