On February 26, 2024, THS detected unauthorized activities within its computer systems. In response, THS secured the affected areas, brought in external experts for further assistance, reinforced its data security measures, and initiated an investigation. Efforts have been ongoing to ascertain the incident details and the extent of the compromised data.
THS claims it remains dedicated to improving its security infrastructure to prevent future data breaches. The organization claims it is also enhancing its cyber readiness through increased awareness training and updated procedures. Law enforcement has been informed about the data breach.
As a result of the data breach, Therapeutic Health Services is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
