Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

Posted: August 30, 2025 -- Attention, victims of the Southern Graphics data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the data breach recently announced by Southern Graphics.

Southern Graphics Data Breach Summary:

Approximately 31,000 individuals were affected by the Southern Graphics data breach, and breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: contact data (phone numbers, email and postal addresses), dates of birth, demographic data, financial account numbers, government-issued identification data (Social Security numbers, passport numbers, driver’s license numbers, taxpayer ID numbers, and military ID), medical and/or health insurance data, salary and compensation data, and work-related evaluations.

Southern Graphics Inc., known as SGS & Co., reportedly discovered a cybersecurity incident on December 2, 2024. The incident involved unauthorized access to parts of its IT systems, which the company believes took place on November 18, 2024.

After detection, the company started an investigation to assess the incident's nature and extent. During the process, it reviewed the affected data and identified people whose personal information might have been involved. The company says it finished the investigation in late July 2025 and concluded that an unauthorized party had accessed some personal information related to the incident.

Upon detecting the breach, the company says it acted to contain and address the unauthorized access, which included shutting down systems. It also hired third-party forensic experts to help with the investigation, worked with law enforcement, and implemented measures to improve system security.

As a result of the data breach, Southern Graphics is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
