Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the data breach recently announced by Panera.

Panera data breach summary:

Panera recently informed its employees about a security breach involving some of their personal data. On March 23, 2024, Panera detected the incident and took action to address it by engaging a cybersecurity firm.

Following an investigation, it was discovered that unauthorized access to internal files had occurred on that date. Panera also contacted law enforcement regarding the breach. After a review of the affected files, Panera concluded on May 16, 2024, that employee personal data had indeed been compromised.

As a result of the data breach, Panera is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

An UNKNOWN number of individuals were affected by the Panera data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names and Social Security numbers.
