OnePoint Patient Care (OPPC), a leading provider of hospice pharmacy services, has informed its customers of a recent security incident that may have compromised personal information. On August 8, 2024, OPPC detected unusual activity within its network systems.
Upon identifying the issue, the company promptly initiated an investigation, implemented containment measures, and engaged a cybersecurity firm to assess the situation thoroughly. Law enforcement authorities have been notified of the breach.
Initial findings revealed that between August 6 and August 8, unauthorized individuals accessed certain information from OPPC's systems without permission.
