In late-March of 2026, ONE Gas, Inc., a natural gas distribution service provider headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, disclosed to the Attorney General of Texas a security incident involving unauthorized access to sensitive data. Thousands of individuals were affected by the ONE Gas data breach, and breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names, addresses, and Social Security numbers. It is unclear if ONE Gas is offering credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to any affected individuals at this time.
