The investigation reportedly revealed that an external party had infiltrated the system and potentially downloaded internal files.

Following this discovery, McLean Mortgage Corporation claims to have initiated a systematic evaluation of the data that may have been compromised. This process purportedly concluded on May 12, 2025, and identified personal information associated with specific individuals that could have been exposed as a result of the breach.
