On August 25, 2023, MNGI Digestive Health reportedly detected unauthorized activity in its digital systems. The company claims it immediately acted to secure its network and launched an investigation. According to the company, independent cybersecurity experts were brought in to support these efforts. The investigation purportedly revealed that certain parts of the network were accessed without authorization on August 20, 2023.

After a detailed and lengthy review, MNGI Digestive Health claims to have discovered on June 7, 2024, that some individuals' personal and protected health information might have been compromised.
