To understand the scope of the incident and assess whether any sensitive data, including personal or health information, had been accessed, Lamont Hanley & Associates enlisted external cybersecurity experts. Following a thorough forensic cybersecurity review and a manual investigation of all data in the email account, Lamont Hanley & Associates determined the particular personal information contained within the account on February 28, 2024.
As a result of the data breach, Lamont Hanley & Associates is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
