Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the data breach recently announced by Inszone Insurance.

Inszone Insurance Data Breach Summary:

Approximately 21,000 individuals were affected by the Inszone Insurance data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Personal Information.

In April 2024, Inszone purportedly identified irregularities within its network environment. Following this discovery, Inszone claims to have promptly initiated actions to address the issue and engaged a cybersecurity team to conduct an extensive investigation. This investigation apparently revealed that certain data stored on an Inszone system may have been accessed without authorization.

Subsequently, Inszone claims to have conducted a thorough review to determine the nature of the compromised information, the identities of the affected individuals, and their contact information. This review reportedly concluded on October 25, 2024.

Upon discovering the incident, Inszone claims it implemented the necessary steps described above and enacted measures aimed at enhancing security to reduce the likelihood of similar incidents in the future.

As a result of the data breach, Inszone Insurance is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
