Approximately 27,000 individuals were affected by the Fireworks Software data breach.

On June 28, 2024, Fireworks Software identified unauthorized access to its computer network.

Upon discovering this breach, the company claims it immediately secured its systems and launched a comprehensive investigation. To ensure a thorough examination, Fireworks Software claims it collaborated closely with external cybersecurity experts who specialize in managing such incidents.

After purportedly conducting an extensive forensic analysis and reviewing relevant documents, Fireworks Software concluded on August 28, 2024, that between June 23 and June 26, 2024, personal information stored within its network may have been accessed or obtained by an unauthorized individual.

As a result of the data breach, Fireworks Software is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
