Approximately 208,000 individuals were affected by the EVIT data breach.

On January 9, 2024, the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) experienced a cyber-incident involving unauthorized access to its computer network. EVIT claims to have engaged a third-party firm to conduct a thorough review of all potentially affected files. The review was recently concluded, identifying certain individuals as potentially impacted by this incident.

As a result of the data breach, EVIT is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
