On February 12, 2024, Consulting Radiologists identified unusual activity within its computer network. In response, Consulting Radiologists claims it swiftly secured its network and enlisted a specialized cybersecurity firm to examine the incident's nature and extent. According to Consulting Radiologists, the investigation revealed that an unauthorized individual had accessed certain files and data stored on the computer network.

Following this discovery, Consulting Radiologists purportedly initiated a thorough and time-consuming process to reconstruct and review the data present on the server at the time of the data breach. This effort aimed to determine whose information had been compromised. By April 17, 2024, Consulting Radiologists had identified the individuals whose sensitive information was involved in the breach. To prevent future incidents, Consulting Radiologists has implemented additional monitoring tools and continues to strengthen its computer system security.

As a result of the data breach, Consulting Radiologists is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.
