Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the data breach recently announced by Beech Acres Parenting Center.

Beech Acres Parenting Center Data Breach Summary:

Approximately 19,000 individuals were affected by the Beech Acres Parenting Center data breach, and breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, bank account and routing data, health insurance data, and/or medical or treatment data.

Beech Acres Parenting Center recently reported a data security incident that may have involved personal information and protected health information. The organization has notified people who may be affected and supplied support resources.

On November 23, 2024, the organization detected unusual activity on its network. It ended the activity, secured its systems, and brought in cybersecurity experts to investigate. The investigation found that an unauthorized person may have accessed or obtained certain files and data.

Beech Acres reviewed its systems to determine the scope of the incident and is notifying all individuals whose information could have been involved. Mailed notices were sent on August 22, 2025. The organization has added security measures to reduce the risk of a similar event and set up a toll-free call center at 833-397-8859, available Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

As a result of the data breach, Beech Acres Parenting Center is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.
