American Lending Center Data Breach Summary:

In May of 2026, American Lending Center disclosed a security incident involving unauthorized access to sensitive data, which took place on or around July 24, to July 30 of 2025. Approximately 123,000 individuals were affected by the American Lending Center data breach, and breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: name, date of birth, social security number. As a result of the data breach, American Lending Center is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to some affected individuals.

American Lending Center Data Breach Details:

American Lending Center disclosed a ransomware-related data breach after detecting an incident on or around July 27, 2025. A forensic investigation found that an unauthorized actor accessed the company’s internal network, deployed ransomware, and reached files containing personal information. The company completed its review of the affected data on April 8, 2026, and began mailing notices to affected individuals on April 28, 2026.

The breach reportedly affected 123,158 people in the United States. The most clearly confirmed exposed information includes names, dates of birth, and Social Security information.

American Lending Center responded by offering affected individuals identity-theft protection services through IDX. Those services include credit monitoring, CyberScan monitoring, identity-theft recovery help, and a $1 million insurance reimbursement policy.
