Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

April 5, 2024 -- Attention: victims of the York Tech data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the data breach recently announced by York Tech.

On March 15, 2024, York Tech confirmed that a data breach had occurred on its computer network, potentially leading to unauthorized access and/or acquisition of personal and protected health information. This determination was made after a forensic examination and review of documents, which followed an incident first identified on April 26, 2023.

Upon discovering the data breach, York Tech claims it swiftly launched a comprehensive investigation in partnership with external cybersecurity experts who specialize in data breach incidents. The investigation revealed that a data breach might have taken place around March 27, 2023, affecting a limited scope of data on their network.

As a result of the data breach, York Tech is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

Approximately 30,000 individuals were affected by the York Tech data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names, Social Security Numbers and Driver's License data or State ID data.
