September 12, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the XL Specialized Trailers data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is currently investigating a data security incident recently announced by XL Specialized Trailers. According to XL Specialized Trailers, on February 3, 2023, an unauthorized computer hacker entered its computer network. XL Specialized Trailers claims that after discovering the data security incident, it performed a data breach examination to understand what happened and determine if sensitive personal information was affected. XL Specialized Trailers has revealed that on July 26, 2023, its investigation found that sensitive personal information was, in fact, potentially affected by the data breach. This affected data includes names, Social Security numbers, and DOBs.

Approximately 3,100 individuals have been affected by the XL Specialized Trailers data security breach.

Data compromised in the breach may include, but is not necessarily limited to: first and last name, Social Security number, and date of birth.
