Data Breach Class Action
October 1, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Vi Living data breach.
Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Vi Living data breach.
On March 13, 2023, Vi Living determined that an unauthorized threat actor entered its computer network environment. Vi Living claims that after detecting the intrusion it disconnected all of its computer networks. Upon learning of the incident, Vi Living claims it hired third-party cybersecurity experts to investigate the network intrusion and data breach. The third-party cybersecurity experts determined that some data from Vi Living’s computer network was accessed by the unauthorized threat actor. On July 25, 2023, the third-party cybersecurity experts found that the data included personal data of some individuals.
As a result of the data breach, Vi Living is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.
Approximately 61,000 individuals were affected by the Vi Living data breach.
Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: sensitive personally identifying information (PII).

With 10 communities located across the United States Vi Living offers retired seniors residential facilities as well as dining and companionship activities. Vi Living's facilities offer: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Nursing, and Memory Support.
