Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Valley Oaks Health data breach.

Valley Oaks Health has recently discovered that between June 8, 2023, and June 13, 2023, an unauthorized individual accessed parts of their computer network. Following the detection of this security incident, Valley Oaks Health claims it swiftly initiated a comprehensive cybersecurity investigation.

To address the situation, Valley Oaks Health has stated that it collaborated extensively with third-party cybersecurity experts who specialize in managing such data breaches. A detailed forensic analysis and review of documents conducted by these experts revealed on February 2, 2024, that the data breach resulted in the access and acquisition of files containing personal information of individuals.

As a result of the data breach, Valley Oaks Health is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

Approximately 50,300 individuals were affected by the Valley Oaks Health data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names and Social Security numbers.
