Regal Securities
Data Breach Class Action
August 17, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Regal Securities data breach.
In February 2023, suspicious activity was detected that hindered the ability to access certain systems within Regal Securities. In response to this, Regal Securities activated its incident response protocols, isolated the affected systems, and enlisted the services of external cybersecurity professionals to undertake a forensic investigation. The findings of this investigation indicated that some of the information stored on the Regal Securities' systems might have been compromised. Regal Securities contracted a third-party vendor to conduct an examination of the data that could have been impacted, with a focus on determining whether any personal information was potentially involved. This assessment concluded in July 2023, at which point it was ascertained that some personal information might have been compromised.
