Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

January 4, 2024 -- Attention: victims of the Qorvo data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Qorvo data breach.

Qorvo, Inc. recently announced that it has been the victim of a cybersecurity event that affected some of its computer systems. According to Qorvo, in August of 2023, an "unauthorized actor" accessed some of its computer systems and may have exfiltrated personal and confidential information of individuals whose data was stored on its computer systems. Unfortunately, Qorvo has so far been unable to determine if the accessed data was or was not, in fact, exfiltrated (copied and taken) from its computer systems.

According to Qorvo, it began remedying the cybersecurity event as soon as it became aware of the problem. A data breach investigation was begun and systems were taken offline during this process. Qorvo also notified law enforcement authorities and engaged the services of a team of third-party cybersecurity investigators to help investigate.

As a result of the data breach, Qorvo is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

An unknown number of individuals were affected by the Qorvo data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Social Security Numbers, Driver’s License numbers, Financial data (e.g. account numbers, credit or debit card numbers), Government-issued ID numbers (e.g. passport, state ID card), and Medical data.
