Data Security Breach Class Action Investigation


Abington Cole + Ellery is currently conducting a class action investigation regarding a confirmed data breach at certain On The Border restaurant locations. According to a "Notice of Potential Payment Card Incident" from the company, the data breach was discovered on November 14, 2019 and involved malware installed on certain On The Border payment processing systems from April 10, 2019, through August 10, 2019.

According to On The Border's Notice, the data breach affected locations in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

The company said breached information includes: names, credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, and credit card verification codes.
