As a result of these measures, Morrison Community Hospital claims they successfully secured their network.
The investigation, completed on November 6, 2023, revealed that the unauthorized third party may have acquired certain personal information during the incident. In response to the detection of this breach, Morrison Community Hospital claims they swiftly initiated a comprehensive response. This response included conducting a thorough investigation with the aid of third-party IT specialists and ensuring the network environment's security. Additionally, Morrison Community Hospital is currently reviewing and enhancing their technical safeguards to mitigate the risk of similar incidents in the future.
As a result of the data breach, Morrison Community Hospital is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.
