February 9, 2022, Attention: victims of the Medical Review Institute of America data breach.

On or about November 9, 2021, the Medical Review Institute of America became aware that it had been the target of a data breach. The Medical Review Institute of America conducted an investigation and contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation after learning about the data breach. On or about November 12, 2021, the Medical Review Institute of America learned that the data breach included the unsanctioned access and exfiltration of sensitive personal data.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: social security numbers, first and last names, phone numbers, email addresses, gender, home addresses, dates of birth, medical diagnosis, medical history, dates of service, medical treatment, prescription data, provider names, lab test results, health insurance policy numbers, medical account numbers, health insurance group plan numbers, claim information, and group plan providers.
