Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit
November 4, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Life Generations Healthcare data breach.
Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Life Generations Healthcare data breach.
Between May 24 and June 13, 2023, an external entity accessed specific Life Generations Healthcare employee email accounts without permission. Upon discovery, Life Generations Healthcare secured the accounts and began an internal investigation. They also enlisted a forensic security firm to assess the incident and their computer systems' security. According to Life Generations Healthcare, the breach affected a limited number of email accounts and did not involve their medical record systems. By October 4, 2023, the investigation found that these accounts contained personal identifiable information.
As a result of the data breach, Life Generations Healthcare is offering 12 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.
A currently UNKNOWN number of individuals were affected by the Life Generations Healthcare data breach.
Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license number or state ID, financial account data, medical data, and health insurance data.
