October 11, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Lennar data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Lennar data breach.

Lennar Corporation recently announced that they discovered unusual activity in their computer systems. According to Lennar, as soon as the unusual activity was discovered, they acted to prevent any unauthorized access, informed U.S. authorities, and brought in top cybersecurity experts to investigate. The investigation reveals that some personal details might have been accessed by an intruder starting in July 2023. The company is notifying individuals as a precaution. According to Lennar, there is currently no evidence of ongoing unauthorized access to their system.

As a result of the data breach, Lennar is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

Approximately 7,400 individuals were affected by the Lennar data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Social Security numbers.
