Data Breach Class Action

Attention: Anyone who received a data breach notice from Kroger or believes they were harmed by the Kroger data breach.

February 23, 2021, Abington Cole + Ellery is conducting an investigation into the confirmed data breach of certain Kroger data by an unauthorized person or persons who exploited a vulnerability in Kroger's third-party secure file transfer service Accellion.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: HR data for some employees, some pharmacy information, and some money services information.

According to Kroger, it was first notified about the data breach on January 23, 2021, and it immediately ceased using Accellion’s secure file transfer services and began its own data breach investigation to determine the breadth and affect of the data breach.
