Data Breach Class Action Investigation


Attention: Consumers who used a debit card or credit card at any Islands restaurant location from February 13, 2019, to September 27, 2019.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Islands Restaurants, L.P. ("Islands") on behalf of thousands of consumers whose credit and debit card information were compromised in a data breach of certain Islands locations.

Malware was placed on some point-of-sale machines that were used for payment card transactions in Islands restaurants from February 13, 2019, to September 27, 2019.

About the Data Breach

According to Islands' Notice of Data Breach, the malware permitted hackers to acquire payment card magnetic stripe information including "cardholder name, card number, expiration date, and internal verification code."

We are seeking affected consumers to serve as plaintiffs ("Class Representatives") in the class action. If you believe you are a victim of the Islands data breach, and would like to participate in a class action lawsuit regarding this data breach as a Class Representative, please submit your information via the form on this webpage.
