September 14, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Honeywell data breach.

On June 3, 2023, Honeywell discovered that it was affected by a vulnerability in the third-party tool, Progress MOVEit Transfer, which it utilized for certain business functions. This vulnerability led to a breach of data in Honeywell's care, custody, and control. In response, Honeywell immediately revoked all access to the tool and began an investigation. By August 28, 2023, Honeywell ascertained that an unauthorized party had accessed personal data related to a pension plan it was overseeing. Honeywell's data security team acted to manage the situation by notifying law enforcement, terminating the unauthorized access, and fixing the vulnerability in the third-party tool.

Approximately 118,300 individuals were affected by the Honeywell data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Name and Social Security Number.
