Data Breach Class Action Investigation


Attention: Energy One Federal Credit Union Customers

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the confirmed data breach of Energy One Federal Credit Union. On or about June 4, 2020, Energy One learned of unauthorized activity within its computer systems and after an investigation, Energy One determined that the unauthorized activity resulted in the encryption of sensitive customer information. Importantly, the investigation also determined that whomever carried out the unauthorized activity may have also gained access to very sensitive customer information maintained within Energy One's computer systems.

Energy One's data breach investigation determined that affected customer information may have included: names, addresses, financial account numbers, and Social Security numbers.

The information involved in the Energy One data breach can be used to perpetrate many types of fraud and identity theft, and the danger to affected individuals cannot be overstated.
