Bank 34
Data Breach Class Action

September 7, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Bank 34 data breach.

Recently, Bank 34 faced a data security breach that might have compromised some customer details. The institution completed its investigation and data analysis of an event where unauthorized individuals accessed emails and attachments from two staff members' email accounts. Once Bank 34 discovered the data breach, the bank immediately secured the affected email accounts and began an investigation. Their findings showed that unauthorized individuals accessed the email accounts on June 22, June 23, and June 26, 2023. The investigation couldn't confirm whether these individuals viewed or obtained emails and attachments during the breach. The bank then reviewed the potentially affected emails and attachments to determine if they exposed any personal details. On August 9, 2023, the review confirmed that certain emails or attachments from the breached accounts contained personal information. In response, Bank 34 has implemented stronger technical measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
