This probe aimed to ascertain if any personal information was unlawfully accessed or acquired. The inquiry revealed indications that an unauthorized entity might have infiltrated the email system, possibly accessing files containing personal data.

To identify the specific personal information compromised, Aveanna Healthcare collaborated with more experts for a detailed examination of the affected data, concluding this assessment on March 12, 2024. Aveanna Healthcare has stated that it is committed to implementing further measures to avert similar incidents in the future.

As a result of the data breach, Aveanna Healthcare is offering free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

At least tens of thousands of individuals were affected by the Aveanna Healthcare data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names, dates of birth, driver's license or state identification numbers, Social Security numbers, medical data, health insurance data, prescription data, and other medical information.
