On May 12, 2023, it came to light that Associated Materials experienced service disruptions at one of their production facilities. A deeper dive by their IT department revealed that specific systems were encrypted by an unknown entity. In response, Associated Materials promptly sought the expertise of external legal advisors and a renowned third-party cybersecurity forensics agency. Their investigation unearthed potential breaches where files might have been accessed and duplicated by this unknown entity. The suspicious activities seem to have taken place between April 25, 2023, and May 12, 2023.

A currently UNKNOWN number of people were affected by the Associated Materials data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Name; Social Security Number; Medical Data; Username and Password/Security Question Answers; Financial & Banking Data; Passport Number; Email Address and Password/Security Question Answers; Date of Birth; Health Insurance Policy or ID Number; Driver's License Number.
