September 21, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Aristocrat Technologies data breach.

On June 1, 2023, Aristocrat first learned of a cybersecurity breach involving an unidentified weakness in the MOVEit external file transfer application. Aristocrat claims that after discovering the software flaw, it disconnected the affected server, initiated a thorough review of the incident, and addressed the MOVEit software vulnerability. The subsequent inquiry by Aristocrat revealed that from May 29 to May 31, 2023, computer hackers took advantage of the MOVEit vulnerability to exfiltrate information from a server belonging to Aristocrat.

With the help of external cybersecurity specialists hired to conduct the investigation, Aristocrat concluded on August 18, 2023, that personally identifiable information was compromised in the data breach. Aristocrat also reported the incident to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and, where mandated, to regulatory bodies. Aristocrat claims it has maintained and ongoing collaboration with these entities.

Aristocrat has provided 2 years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services to all individuals adversely affected by this data breach.

Approximately 7,200 individuals were affected by the Aristocrat Technologies data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: dates of birth, Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, or national identifiers.
