Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

November 29, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Alps Alpine data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Alps Alpine data breach.

On September 10th, 2023, Alps Alpine identified unauthorized access to its computer servers. The company claims it immediately isolated the affected servers from the network to mitigate the impact of the data breach. A detailed investigation, with assistance from a security consultant, was also conducted to assess the extent of the impact of the data breach.

Alps Alpine stated that it evaluated the attack's effects on its operations and continues to monitor any further illegal server access. The company has verified the leakage of personal information and business files belonging to employees at its North American subsidiary. While the cause remains under investigation, Alps Alpine strongly suspects a connection to this unauthorized access.

It is unknown if Alps Alpine is offering credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals at this time.

Approximately 16,000 individuals were reportedly affected by the Alps Alpine data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: personally identifiable information.
