Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit
December 6, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the Advantis Global data breach.
Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced Advantis Global data breach.
Advantis Global detected a data security incident in its corporate email system around October 21, 2022. Following this discovery, the company promptly initiated a thorough investigation, seeking the expertise of external cybersecurity professionals experienced in such incidents.
On November 27, 2023, after a detailed forensic examination, Advantis Global ascertained that an unauthorized party had infiltrated its corporate email system from August 18, 2022, to October 24, 2022, potentially accessing emails with personal details of a select group of individuals. By November 30, 2023, the company had successfully located the latest contact details of those impacted by the breach.
As a result of the data breach, Advantis Global is offering free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.
Approximately 5,000 individuals were affected by the Advantis Global data breach.
Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names and Social Security numbers.
