May 19, 2022, Attention: victims of the ARcare data breach.

According to ARcare, on February 24, 2022, ARcare experienced a data breach affecting its computer systems. The data breach initially resulted in a temporary interference with ARcare's services. On March 14, 2022, after a data breach investigation, ARcare learned that unauthorized third parties may have gained access to and exfiltrated sensitive personal and medical data from ARcare's computer network from approximately January 18, 2022, to February 24, 2022. After an examination of the affected data and the contents of the data, ARcare found that sensitive personal and medical information relating to patients was compromised in the data breach.

Approximately 345,353 individuals were affected by the ARcare data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: names, dates of birth, drivers license data and numbers, state identification numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account data, prescription data, diagnosis data, medical treatment data, and health insurance data.

ARcare is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) operating at locations in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Kentucky. ARcare's services include primary health care, behavioral health care, pharmacies, and community outreach programs.
