Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

January 12, 2023 -- Attention: victims of the ARCC data breach.

Abington Cole + Ellery is investigating the recently announced ARCC data breach.

ARCC has recently informed relevant parties about a data security breach that involved unauthorized access to its computer network. Following the detection of this breach, ARCC claims it quickly responded to mitigate the threat. They launched an immediate, in-depth investigation into the incident with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts, who specialize in such matters. The investigation, which included a detailed forensic analysis and a thorough review of documents, led to the discovery on December 7, 2023, that certain personal data might have been compromised during this security incident.

As a result of the data breach, ARCC is offering free credit monitoring and/or identity theft protection services to affected individuals.

Approximately 65,000 individuals were affected by the ARCC data breach.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: Medical data, Health Insurance data, and Social Security Numbers.

It's governed by superintendents, school board members, and staff from its member districts. ARCC's services include payroll, finance, student systems, and tech support.
