Data Breach Class Action

February 9, 2022, Attention: Individuals who received a data breach notice from A New Leaf.

On or about March 30, 2021, A New Leaf learned that its computer systems were affected by unauthorized encryption and installation of ransomware. A New Leaf began a data breach investigation after discovering the encryption and ransomware and, as a result of the investigation, A New Leaf determined that some digital files were downloaded by unauthorized actors from its computers in connection with the ransomeware. On June 23, 2021, A New Leaf's investigation revealed that some of the digital files downloaded by the unauthorized actors may have included protected health information along with additional personal information.

Breached data may include, but is not necessarily limited to: social security numbers and protected health information.

On December 30, 2021, A New Leaf mailed data breach notification letters to all individuals who were potentially affected. Additional information from A New Leaf about the data breach may be found here: A New Leaf Notice of a Data Incident.
