Class Actions

A class action, class suit, or representative action is a procedural device permitting one or more plaintiffs to file and prosecute a lawsuit on behalf of a larger group, or "class". Class actions allow courts to manage lawsuits that would otherwise be unmanageable if each class member (individuals who have suffered the same wrong at the hands of the same defendant) filed a separate lawsuit or were required to join the lawsuit as a named plaintiff.

Abington Cole + Ellery investigates and prosecutes several types of class actions: consumer protection class actions and data breach class actions.

If you have a question about a class action lawsuit or would like to report a fraud or other misconduct, please submit your information via the form on this webpage.
