Saks Fifth Avenue Data Security Breach Class Action Investigation

Abington Cole + Ellery is currently conducting a class action investigation regarding a confirmed data security breach at national department-store chain Saks Fifth Avenue. The breach reportedly affects credit and debit cards from across the United States.

Saks Fifth Avenue has not yet confirmed dates of the breach, but cybersecurity firm Gemini Advisory is reporting that customers who used payment cards at Saks Fifth Avenue from between approximately May of 2017, thru May of 2018, may have had their information exposed. Gemini Advisory is also reporting that the breach may have exposed up to 5 million payment cards and that the information is already being sold.
