Abington Cole + Ellery is currently conducting a class action investigation regarding a confirmed data security breach of Jobscience, Inc.’s TalentPath product.
A Jobscience Notice of Data breach states that in late August 2018 Jobscience learned that an unauthorized third-party may have gained access to one of its servers on or around May 8, 2018. After investigating, Jobscience determined that the unauthorized third party gained access to a server used to process job application information, including information submitted when applying for positions with Jobscience or Jobscience customers.
The affected data generally includes information submitted by or on behalf of job applicants, such as names and contact information, and in some instances information such as Social Security Number, Driver’s License Number, Alien Registration Number, username, password or security question. The information may have been submitted by or through an employer or a recruiter or staffing service who utilized the TalentPath service.
